Thank You!

We had a fantastic turn-out on Saturday.   Here are some of the pictures.  I’ll post more as them come in.  We had over 100 runners and walkers with sunny skies and cooler (than it had been!) temperature.

Our raffle winners were:

  • HDTV – Mark Arneson
  • Bose Stereo – Doug Uthoff
  • iPad 2 – Joey Olwig

The final numbers aren’t all tallied but we’re over $20,000 in donations!  That will go a long, long way in helping Laura’s mission in the village of Bel Vie and to build the new school this summer.

Thank you to all of our volunteers:  Jessica Archer Olwig, Steph & Brian Biederman, Donna & Gene Hale, Debbie & Joe Olwig, Dan Catalano; Steve & Rose Schroader, John Spellman, Irene Werner, Scott & Heather Miller, Sara Vaughan, Bill & Pat Olwig.

Special thanks to our Sponsors: Redline Production – Rik Cannon; Propel Marketing GroupShirt Kong Screen Printing; Coldwell Banker Gundaker – John Spellman; Missouri Mercantile; and AD Creations.

A very special thank you to one of the best places to work in the world, World Wide Technology.  Jim Kavanaugh and Dave Steward have been wonderful in their financial support and moral support.  And there are a number of fantastic WWTer’s that made significant contributions with donations and the purchase of raffle tickets.

Laura, Sharon and me really appreciated all of the wonderful support for this event. Thank you!

P.S. It’s never too late too late to contribute and help Laura’s mission…feel free to visit her their website: Official God’s Ministry In La Gonave Website to learn more.  It only costs $50 to sponsor a child’s education for a full year!
